Will Magalhães Quartet

The Brazilian guitarist Will Magalhães presents Impressões, an instrumental concert rooted in Brazilian music as its primary language, in dialogue with jazz and contemporary improvisation. 

The repertoire brings together original compositions and reinterpretations of works by Milton Nascimento, Pixinguinha, Baden Powell, and The Beatles. At the Pinneberg Jazz Festival, Will performs with Matthias Bublath (piano/keyboards), Berval Moraes (bass), and Christian Lettner (drums).

Will Magalhães is a Brazilian guitarist, violonist, composer, and music producer with a strong focus on contemporary instrumental music. His musical language moves between Brazilian music and jazz, emphasizing improvisation, interaction, and modern sonorities. With European tours between 2019 and 2025, he has performed in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, and Spain, consolidating his experience within international jazz and instrumental music circuits. He is active in both original and collaborative projects, and also works as a musical director and sideman in the Brazilian music scene.
