Guitarist Hugo Fernandez, with four albums to his credit, presents his latest album "OZEAN" (Origin Records Jun 2022) recorded in Berlin with his band New Grounds Quartet, Formed by Hugo Fernández, Christoph Titz, Martin Lillich and Aaron Castrillo: Spark of desire, Imaginary Geometry, Caribbean illusion, Birdhouse, Undercurrent, Watertones, Neptune grass and Latina.

The quartet explores the blending of jazz with different styles of music to obtain a sound of its own.

Born in Mexico, with stops at Berklee and the University of New Orleans before a decade in Madrid and now Berlin, Fernandez's experiences through life in these vivid cultural capitals comes through his music.
